The hotel was 2 minutes walk from the underground station Andole France (line 3.) There was a train every 4 minutes so easy to get around. The area around the hotel was nice with lots of restaurants, a supermarket and boulangerie. The room was small and compact as expected. It was clean and cleaned daily. The beds were comfortable and there was a small ensuite bathroom which was modern with a walk in shower. There was a TV. The staff were friendly. You could organise a book in time in advance. Breakfast was simple with a basket with croissants, pain au chocolat and baguettes i There were a couple of cereals and a drinks machine for hot drinks and a machine with water and juice. It was fresh and tasty. We had a pleasant stay.

Stayed here with friends for 3 nights and the hotel was simply wonderful. Since we arrived in Paris late, they approved the required check-in time without any problems. David at the reception was incredibly friendly, which immediately lifted our spirits after a long drive. The location of the hotel is also great as it was easy to get to the sights and there was a metro station nearby if needed. There were also excellent bakeries and coffee shops nearby. In our room, the necessary towels and bed linen were cleaned and changed every day, for which we are sincerely grateful to the hotel staff. We were also allowed to store our suitcases for free after check-out. We will be happy to stay at this hotel on our next trip to Paris!

So what a great place. I stayed during the Paris Olympics and this was the only place I found that had not become greedy and put their prices up to some silly level. The communication throughout was excellent, lots of email contact beforehand and a warm welcome. A room that was really clean; a comfy bed, and 5 minutes walk to 2 Metro stations. A good bakery just down the road and some nice restaurants around the place. The neighbourhood was calm and it was about a 20 to 25 minute Metro ride into the centre of Paris, so well located on the umber 3 line.

Hôtel D’Anjou is an excellent property to stay in, the staff are nice and friendly. The cleaner comes in everyday to clean the room, gives extra towels and toilet rolls. The location is superb and very safe with lots of amenities around it, cafes, supermarkets, bars and some attractions too. It is also few minutes walk to Louise Michael train station. You can practically spend your whole day in the area, sightseeing, dinning and wining, and do a bit of shopping. There’s also a lift in the property that can take three people at a time.

I used to live nearby and can say with certainty that this is a safe, clean neighborhood with good dining options. The hotel is very close to the metro and was within short walking distance to an event we attended. Everything was very clean, the bed comfortable, with decent-sized windows to open and let air in. The staff was friendly and checking in/out very smooth. Excellent value for the money: three beds (two adults, one kid) and a bathroom for just over 100 euros is cheaper than a hostel.
